Liam was being hunted by every villain in Gotham. Every criminal was after him and the worst part was his adopted family didn't know about it at all. On the other side of the city was the batcave. No phone. No weapon. No help. Gotham is filled with backstabbers and two faced villains, you can't even call for a taxi without every thug in Gotham knowing about it. Joker breaks free and takes control of the Asylum and it's going to take everything that Batman and Robin have to bring order to the Asylum. The story is built with criminals like something else from the venom addicted meathead Bane to miss mother nature Poison Ivy all the way to an army of monsters created by Joker.
