Kazutora paused and blinked a few times, not expecting this kind demeanor of Takemichi in front of him.

It's like a switch had been turned on and he witnessed a perpendicular character of him opposite to how he interacted with him ages ago before he got arrested.

He seemed right yet wrong at the same time.

Shinichiro was. And his younger brother was his second-in-command. Takemichi has now to deal with this now.

It's hard to believe something like "time leaping" exists, but then again, you're not someone who lives in denial and delusion, and you have undeniably come 12 years into the past.
