This young adult tragedy focuses on Bailey, a woman who has a near death experience when being hit by a car on a rainy day. This leads to some mysterious illness suddenly affecting her. During her research about the rare condition, she meets Adrien via the internet, a younger man from the South of France who also suffers from the same fate. They meet up in her hometown in Bristol in order to find ways to both cope with the supernatural syndrome they've been cursed with.
