My wolf whimpered and my body felt numb. I forced myself to turn as my tears reached my chin. Silently crying, I walked away.
I felt someone following my. Turning, I saw Sam. His eyes looked sad just like mine. I felt his wolf howling at me to come back. I ran into his arms. He reluctantly put his arms around me, "I'm sorry, Kandy."
I smiled and kissed him. He grinned and wiped my tears away with his thumbs as he kissed me back. I didn't want to lose these blissful moments again.
