"Pumpkin-headed scarecrows lumbered on the west side of Nutmeg Elementary School."
It was rather sudden, on the jubliant, fresh morning of October 31st, 8 a.m, when every school in the serene town of Squashville changes forever. Everything goes dark in a second and when the teacher of the schools came to, they find every student erased from existence. In their place, scarecrows, wiry and towering, start to loom on school grounds, devouring every teacher trying to flee the suddenly decaying school buildings.
