Every few days Ajax returns home, wounded and covered in blood, and every time Zhongli is able to heal him.
But now, Ajax is returning home in much worse state, which isn't being helped by his increased usage of the delusion. And Zhongli can't help but worry that he won't be able to save his lover one day.
Angst, so much angst. I'm so sorry. Suffer.

Zhongli a poor man trying everything he can to pay for college, he does the craziest jobs you might think of. But the worst he has might have been working at a stripping bar, lucky it isn't prostitution.
