Elizabeth West has had a rough couple of years and has a hard time holding on. After discovering Elizabeth got emancipated when she turned 16, the Cullen family takes her in to be a part of their family and help her battle the depression she's in.
This is a story about family. No romance. Just the issues that mental health problems can bring and the involvement of family in that persons life.
P.S The vampires do not 'shine bright like a diamond' when a drop of sun hits their skin.
P.P.S. I don't have knowledge about the American school system, since I am Dutch. Everything is written from my Dutch perspective and might not be accurate with the reality in America. If you have any tips/suggestions about anything in this story, please let me know so I can edit this :)

Isadora was fine with that, she preferred the quiet life she had even if it felt as if the only person who loved her was her father. However, when Bella becomes depressed and Isadora is recruited to drive her around to help her out, things go haywire. She never wanted to get involved with Jacob Black or his pack but when a rogue vampire almost kills her and Isadora has to come to terms with the fact vampires and werewolves are real, Jacob's long buried feelings are brought back up from his newfound shifting abilities. ~~~~ This is just a little fanfiction since I got into my twilight phase again and I need some writing practice. For 10 years Elena Hart has lived in the basement. After getting kidnapped and watching her family get murdered, people think she is dead. But she isn't, though she wishes she is. Finally for the first time, after everything she has been through she feels safe once more. When she finally gets comfortable she finds out something that has her world crashing down once more. And after all that she doesn't get a break. She never gets a break from the dark side of life. Getting back into society was the easy part, fitting in is the hard part, fitting in and learning how to be a normal human. But she isn't. Not even after escaping life still won't let her be. She ends up pregnant, with his kids and her world falls down once more. Through everyone there was only a few people who were there, truly. And those people were Charlie and Jasper. And as she lives with Charlie and becomes friends with Jasper she realizes maybe life isn't all that bad after all. Maybe, just maybe, she can be happy.
