Ruby Love is the definition of an IT girl. With an adoring boyfriend, an extremely high end wardrobe, a devotes posse, and a nerdy target. Ruby couldn't have it better. But when Ruby stumbles upon the most beautiful pair of ruby red shoes, she decides that they must be hers. And with no idea what is coming, Ruby finds herself taken to the most random places, from Oz to Paris.

Something about the shimmer of the shoes keeps Ruby intrigued, even when she wants to get rid of them, they just won't get away.

From one odd thing to another, Ruby finds herself learning some of the strangest things. Like, what if popularity and fame weren't the only things that would make her happy. No, that doesn't seem right.
