what if Kai pretended to care? What if he was a sick psychopath that manipulated all of the ninja? What if he wanted all the events that happened in the show to happen? What if he stopped his act after an event just to mess with the other ninja? What if he went so far as to kill himself but he came back to life? Over and over again...

In this AU Kai is a phycopath that does stuff for his own entertainment, he is always 4 steps ahead of everyone.

(I only own the plot none of the Ninjago characters and this is basically a AU) Cole is the alpha of his pack and has lived in luxury his whole life though he isn't one who hasn't had hurt in his own way. His pack is the most powerful one in the world and he's one of the most feared yet fair leaders of the werewolf community that took up most of the world besides some human villages and towns that stick to their human selves except for one night a year. Every end of summer each town offers female humans in towns squares between 18-30 for werewolves to see if they are the mates of any werewolves and were only to be taken if they were the mate and only the females are offered. Cole has no mate and he needs a Luna too help him rule his pack because he can't do it alone and it's starting to weigh him down a little. So what does he do when he does meet his mate, but it's nothing like he suspected? Kai's a orphan with his little sister his mother and father were killed by rogue werewolves during a attack and topped with the possibility his only family might be offered to one like a slave. Well he grew a deep hatred for them and everything they were. When Nya turns eighteen she's sent as one of the offerings while he's in the church. But scared of loosing his only family he vowed to protect he snuck out of the church to stop his sister from being taken like so many others. But what happens when he gets caught by one of the werewolves, but doesn't die?

(May have huge gaps between upload times but this story will be finished, that I can promise) Everyone thinks of Kai as a selfish person who puts himself before others and many other negative things. As Kai's time as a ninja, he always heard these comments and he couldn't do anything about it so he has to bottle his feelings whenever people say this. One day when he was on a mission with Cole to save some adventurous that got stuck in a narrow cave a disaster struck on Kai. After the mission Cole got all the thanks and Kai got none, Cole was the only one who truly understood what happened. Kai gets sick of how he is being treated and leaves to have a walk to take his mind off of things... but then he meets someone he didn't expect to meet... Non-canon ships are not implied but take it as you wish, just not greenflame because no. Updates every Wednesday and Sunday if I remember! ---------- Seventeen years ago, Garmadon and his wife, Misako, had two children-one boy and one girl-who were twins. One year later, a group of assassins, sent to kill Garmadon and his family, ambushed them in the night. Garmadon and Misako escaped, but their two children didn't. The couple were determined to avenge their fallen children and defeat the ones responsible for their deaths, or so they thought. In the present day, the ninja, Kai, Cole, Jay, Nya, and Zane, with their masters, Wu and Garmadon, discover a large organization of the same assassins that attacked Misako and Garmadon being lead by a powerful and dangerous foe on an unknown island they never knew about-the Dark Island. This foe was unlike others, he was the eternal enemy of the First Spinjitzu Master. Together, the ninja team work their way over to the island to try and fight them, not knowing that a small group, who aren't so different from the ninja, are already working on it.
