2180, The Beginning of The Parasite Era. An era where a new parasite species called Objectifier(s) were discovered. They are parasites that start as something that looks like a natural resource, like a rock, something that isn't alive. These are called starting resources. Say something living comes across one, like an animal, or a human, the parasite will attach itself to it the body, shutting down most of the body's functions, killing the living host. Then the Objectifier will take over the body and be able to attach other objects to itself, they even gain randomized abilities, and they can both sexually and asexually reproduce, and they can only die when something has destroyed its starting resource, but if put through enough pain, they will completely lose their minds and transform into beasts based on them as individuals, this process is called Corruption. Strange, right? Safe to say, some people were a little too curious. Facilities were built to experiment on these beings, but they were inhuman, and many protested against these experiments. This sparked up WW4's beginning. Meanwhile more and more Objectifiers began to form and gained awareness. A second war began, a war of Objectifiers. The Peace Keepers, who just want peace and balance with humanity, and strive for that happy ending, and The Forbidden Ones, who feel that humanity should pay for what they've done. There is more than just Objectifiers to fear though. A new cult has also formed surrounding this tree with a humanoid figure that moves on its own. There is more to it, but that shall come later. TWs Include- Violence, emotional abuse, mentions of S/A, cruelty/inhuman experiments, cursing, self-harm, suicide, death, kidnapping, blood, mental illness, religious themes, mentions of satanism/occult I will still put a warning for these in every chapter just in case. I suck at writing stories and scaring people, but I don't want to test any limits.

It's been almost a hundred years since Earth's civilizations fell, leaving only ruins and memories. Long before the collapse, they began taking humans, but now, everyone knows who they are and they fear them. The few who manage to return from their captivity tell stories of how these creatures treat humans like animals or children, tending to them like pets or slaves. Most survivors live in hidden cities, avoiding the ancient ruined cities at all costs. But not Jace and his crew. As a group of Stray Humans, they've made the decaying cities their home, roaming the forgotten streets, never staying in one place for long, and bringing all their skills to the table. They are a family, working together to make sure those things, Aliens, never take another human as long as they are near. When the aliens of A.C.R. (Animal Care and Rescue) find a new group of humans wandering the ruins of a large city, they think it will be an easy capture. But they soon learn that these particular humans have more willpower than most. They dodge every trap, disappear around every bend, and even manage to take some of the already captured humans with them. The aliens pity these "little creatures"-they just don't want to leave their home, but Earth is falling apart at the seams, and they are determined to take the stubborn little humans to the safety of one of the mother planets. No matter the cost. Warning - This story may have -Self harm -Rape -Abuse -Suicidal thoughts and actions -Violence and gore -Uncomfortable scenes (If this isn't your first alien pet book, you know what I'm talking about)
