A banshee that protected wolves and wolves that protected a banshee. She may have been a harbinger of death but she alerted the protectors of the tribe to aid them, that was her role. Just as much as she felt the need to protect them, they too felt the need to protect her. It was in their blood, in their history, and in their ancestors stories.
