A witch cursed with obedience stumbles on a tempting opportunity: create an (illegal-ish) love potion for the university it-girl, for a hefty sum. The payment would help her enlist the infamous underground guild to help her break her curse. All in all, a good deal.

The problem? The love elixir's target is the university golden boy that said witch has a major crush on.

Nothing unfolds as planned, and chaos ensues.

♡

Amira has the short end of the stick. Cursed with obedience and lacking in magical ability, she's an overall outcast at Aeseros University for the Magical Arts and Sciences. The only thing keeping her (and her GPA) afloat is her genius-level potions ability.

So she makes the best of the situation by running a secret potion-making business. If she saves enough, she can finally hire the underground guild to help break her curse.

But when the popular Calypso De Costa offers to pay an irresistible amount for a love potion, Mira is conflicted. Partly because it's kinda illegal, and mostly because Calypso wants to target Arden Lancaster, the gorgeous, charismatic, studious student council president. And Mira's crush.

It would be a hard choice to make - if Mira had any.

Things turn from bad to worse when Arden's best friends are also thrown into the mix: sweet sunshine Leonidas, self-absorbed playboy Elijah, and the chronically sleepy Kai. And Mira underestimates Calypso's hunger for revenge.

Let's just say: Maybe being cursed isn't so bad.
