He saw how in love his parents were before they were killed in that war. Though he knew his mate would have been killed in that war. There's still a hope in his heart that just won't go away.

In the meantime while the Alpha finds his usual innocent but breathtaking mate, it is as if the rest of the pack's lives have been put on hold. I mean as long as the alpha and Luna are living in satisfaction who gives a crap about the people who helped contribute to make sure they're happy.
