He holds my hand tightly, a small smile slightly taking his lips. "But, I am asking you to be Raven for me."
And for the first time, my chest doesn't hurt, it doesn't feel like I am breaking. It feels like oxygen fills me, it feels like I am here, safe and happy.

Raven is forced to stay in the big mansion which belongs to Nora's in-laws, and of course, she has to act like a sweet little obedient girl. But that's just an option. There is another option, act too reckless and knock the shit out of them so that they sent Raven away from them. To leave her alone like people always do. And obviously, she chooses the latter and her defense mechanism.

Until the cold and arrogant Ash bets on making Raven fall for him. Until someone from Ravens' haunting past comes along in their 'little' sophisticated high school. And until Raven realizes maybe she doesn't hate Ash, and neither does he.
