Lacey wasn't your average nerd. She was quite intelligent, yet with a side of sarcasm. She couldn't be bothered by the average problems of other teen in her high school. That is, until she meets the new boy: Darcy Smith. Her first impression of him, a total brain-dead jock. That is, until she encountered him in every single one of her AP classes, and found him one-upping her with every question the teachers asked. The hatred began to form, and all she wanted to do was beat him at every corner. It wasn't until they were partnered up for a science project, and every project in every class after that, that they had to have a conversation outside of arguing with each other on which of them had the right answer in class. Before she realizes it, Lacey is suddenly falling for Darcy, and she has no idea how to handle it. Will true love prevail? Or will their grudge drive them apart?
