Through out his time serving ria's gremory issei thought that his life was finally looking up but then the final battle against raizeviem lucifer happened and he lost draig then everything changened everyone had betrayed him , used and left him and thus he was angered he blamed himself for being naive to believe her lie's and when he learned she knew all about the fallen coming after him he snapped and vowed revenge on all who betrayed him until he came across the true holy grail what many don't know is god hid the true holy grail away and created the scared gear version to throw everyone off it's tracks now that issei has it he can finally have the life he always wanted along with his revenge
