The war between the United States and Lysland were always fair. Heated, and at times scary, but always fair... until they weren't. 

The opposing country landed a devastating missile strike on the U.S., decimating most of the population except a select few who happened to survive the destruction. However, the strikes left them with more than just injuries and grief. Tales from Merrimore Trail follows the story of a group of survivors who navigate a post-war United States, having to work together to survive, and rediscover who they are after being given this second chance at life. Will they crumble under the pressure or become stronger because of it?
