Ángel Cristóbal Santos is the son of Maria Adelina Cristóbal and Ricardo Iglesias Santos, Charlie and Renée Swan's best friends. He grew up in Los Angeles alongside his best friend, Isabella. The two were so inseparable that they started to consider each other cousins instead of just friends. When Ángel is suddenly orphaned, he is placed in the care of his tía Renée. After staying with his tía and cousin Isa, the teens pack up and move to Forks Washington, staying with his tío Charlie.
