Lia Creed has been at her own kind of war for nearly her entire life. At ten, her life is torn apart. At eighteen, she is thrown into a world war. At twenty-one, she meets Easy Company. 

Having her life turned over at a young age, Lia was turned into a stone cold soldier. The things she's seen, the things she's done. They haunt her, bringing her a long way from the cheerful little girl she once was. When she is thrown into a group of rowdy paratroopers, she suddenly finds herself hoping they can show her the way back.
