______________________

The regency era of the 19th century is filled with surprises and secrets...and monarchs. Secrets spread as Lady Whistledown's papers ravage the society of the ton, bringing many of the ton's ladies into the limelight, among them the infamous eldest female of the Bernadotte household.

Taking place in the year 1820, Y/n Dahlia Bernadotte is the eldest daughter of the six Bernadotte children. Preceded by three married brothers and followed by two sisters, she is one of the ton's most precariously well-known young ladies.

Having direct ties to the House of Bernadotte, the ruling monarchs of Sweden, the Bernadotte family are royals in their own right but live as normal high-class families amongst those of the ton.

However, her royal status only seems to get in the way as this year's season rolls around, when Y/n makes her grand entrance into society, forcing new tests and new deadlines upon her.

She must navigate through society, finding what she needs but still abiding by who she is to ensure that everyone is satisfied...and her family is not disgraced.
