I approached Dean, Sam, and Gabriel who were standing next to the Café.
"Hey Cas is here" Gabriel said while slightly punching Deans left shoulder. "Hey Cas!" Sam said. "H-Hey c-Cas" Dean said while slightly blushing. "H-Hello Dean, Sam, and Gabriel" I said while slightly blushing too. I like Dean. "Hey little bro, wanna eat?" Gabriel asked me. "Yeah sure" I replied excitedly. Me Castiel Novak gets to have lunch with Dean, I mean I'v done it before but this feels different. As we walked I'm the fresh smell of burgers filled my nose. We sat down. The waiter asked what we wanted, as always Dean always has a 'Pig 'n' a poke with extra bacon'

Roommates
Dean's about to start medical school and he has been assigned a dorm room. With a roommate. As he and Sam head up to his new room he gets an ominous warning from the guy down the hall about Dean's new roommate. It unnerves Sam, but Dean thinks the guy can't be that bad. Right? Dean and Sam grew up happy with BOTH parents in this one. I thought about how to approach this one for quite a while before I actually started writing it. I thought, how can I get this to make sense? Why would a roommate run away? And then this came to me. So, for those of you that don't know, I based a lot of Cas' personality, quirks, and traits on myself since I have Asperger's. While I don't color coordinate my shirts in the closet, they DO have to all face the same direction, and I have more sensory issues than I'll bore you with here. I mention Dean's sensory issues as well here. While he doesn't show actual traits of Asperger's, he's on the spectrum too, and people on the spectrum still have related issues. The bluntness of Cas' questions are something that I did more often when I was younger, and a reason why people singled me out as weird or a freak. I had great difficulty distinguishing between when people were joking and making fun of me (therefore people thought I was stupid, and I was called as much, despite my higher IQ), so I tended to keep to myself. I still have difficulty initiating conversations, and my reaction to going into places like the party that will be mentioned here is much the same as I made Cas react. During a dangerous case with Sam and Dean something goes wrong and Castiel goes missing, this isn't like the other times Cas has disappeared, this is different, it's strange even for Cas. With Castiel gone Dean doesn't eat or sleep he just drinks and prays wondering if Cas can hear him. Day and night he checks the newspapers and police reports from every city, and county in the US for any sign of the trench coat angel. With no leads things become even more bleaker. Dean throws himself down a hole, and Sam is becoming increasingly worried about about Dean so he seeks out help from from another angel to see if they know anything about the whereabouts of Castiel. Castiel is lost he doesn't know where he is or who he is. He just goes where his feet take him. He never eats or sleeps but he doesn't he have to, he doesn't know why he doesn't eat and it doesn't bother him much cause it would just slow him down. He remembers nothing about Sam or Dean or even himself for that matter, but something is itching at the wall in the back of his head trying to break through, it wants to get out but can't. He gets fragments of things every so often but they are of pain and torture and a redhead he doesn't know the name of. One day a pleasant memory comes through the cracks in his wall he can't place where it came from. The only thing he knows is he needs to find the man with the stunning green eyes. "Let's just get out of here and we'll figure something out" as soon as Sam said that we were transferred to the throne room where Crowley was. "Leaving so soon?" He asked. Rowena was standing beside him and a bunch of demons on each side of the room. "Well this is a nice change of scenery" i said. "It's hell" said Sam. "I was being sarcastic" I whispered to him. "You think you have a choice,and that's sweet and all,but it's time you take the knife and do what you were destined to do" said Crowley and offered me the knife that was on his hand. I started walking towards him when someone grabbed my arm. I turned and saw Dean with pleading eyes and said "Please,you don't have to do this". "As a matter of fact she does" said Crowley. I pulled my arm from Dean's grip and walked towards Crowley taking the knife on my hand. Rowena handed me a large rusty bowl and i placed it on the floor. "I'm way too sober for this" I mumbled to myself. "Why are you glaring at me?" asked Crowley and i turned to see who he was referring to. "I'm hoping you'll spontaneously combust" answered Sam. "Was there something you wanted to say?" I nodded my head as he tore the tape from my mouth. I had to bite my tongue to stop from hissing in pain, readjusting my jaw as it felt stiff. When I looked up - he was staring at me, his eyes shifting down from my eyes just a few times. His face was close to mine, nose touching nose. "Cas" my voice had cracked, tears making their way back as we leaned in, my lips touch his. They were soft and so... Soft. I could feel sparks of electricity running through me as my lips stung. We pulled away, our eyes stuck on each others. I thought he was going to spare me but when I saw him lift his hand with the sword in it, I knew he wouldn't. The last words I heard him speak was "I'm sorry" before he sliced my throat, darkness closing in.
