Kara has worked hard for this moment. After years of having her nose in the books and making the greatest grades possible, she has been granted the gift of being a Rothai, and bond with a dragon. Not only is it a great honor, but it grants a coveted position in society. But Kara is surprised when everything does not go as planned and she ends up hatching an unusual dragon. A dragon so unusual it catches the eye of the President himself. Soon rule-following Kara is forced into becoming a fugitive with her growing dragon.
