Izuku Midoriya became a closed off individual after the tragic death of a close relative. He had bad anxiety, barely being able to speak without shaking, but before all of this he was an outgoing kid who made a lot of friends in his neighborhood. At the start of his freshman year of high school he moved back to that neighborhood to go to U.A.
What happens when he finds all of his old friends, can they learn to love the boy he's become?
Or can they help him improve and become the man he wants to be.
(No quirks, takes place in Japan but I use the American school year schedule and selection of extra sports to play)

Kirishima starts to all of a sudden have nightmares about his best friend, Bakugou. There is nothing he can do, he starts to fall into deep depression, talking to Midoriya only helps a little. He even begins avoiding Bakugou over all. He doesn't know how much he can handle before he breaks. Bakugou slightly brushes it off at first but starts to get really concerned about his good friend, Kirishima. He has been trying to talk but most of the time is responded with silence. He knows that Kirishima starts to talk to Midoriya a lot more and him less. He starts to get jealous? Kirishima begins to close himself off from everyone, he doesn't even want to talk to Midoriya or Bakugou. He still goes to school, but completely ignored when someone tries to talk to him. He starts wearing his hair down, and it starts to fade to its natural color. One day the villains attack, Kirishima wants to keep everyone safe, he wants to make sure he is the only that ever gets harmed during this. My Quirkless Hero (an mha alternate story)

For years, the quirkless have been banned from joining any form of superhero school, and Izuku has been one of the first few to have been admitted into the hero course without a quirk. With his keen intellect in machinery and being a passionate builder since he was young, Izuku hopes to use these traits of his to become the first quirkless hero, hoping to fully show the world that truly anyone can be a hero. I'm simply trying to write a what if story on how my hero academia would have looked like if Horikoshi had done a quirkless Midoriya story instead, which was his original take on the story!
