Izuku Midoriya became a closed off individual after the tragic death of a close relative. He had bad anxiety, barely being able to speak without shaking, but before all of this he was an outgoing kid who made a lot of friends in his neighborhood. At the start of his freshman year of high school he moved back to that neighborhood to go to U.A.
What happens when he finds all of his old friends, can they learn to love the boy he's become?
Or can they help him improve and become the man he wants to be.
(No quirks, takes place in Japan but I use the American school year schedule and selection of extra sports to play)

My Quirkless Hero (an mha alternate story)
(New Chapters once or twice during the week.) Izuku has dreamt his entire life on being a superhero, a common goal for many who have superpowers known as quirks but difficult for people like Izuku. In a world where 80% of the population has a quirk, Izuku Midoriya wasn't born with one, but that wont stop him from entering into the UA, one of the most prestigious superhero schools. For years, the quirkless have been banned from joining any form of superhero school, and Izuku has been one of the first few to have been admitted into the hero course without a quirk. With his keen intellect in machinery and being a passionate builder since he was young, Izuku hopes to use these traits of his to become the first quirkless hero, hoping to fully show the world that truly anyone can be a hero. (These characters don't belong to me, and instead belong to the original author Kohei Horikoshi who created my hero academia. I'm simply trying to write a what if story on how my hero academia would have looked like if Horikoshi had done a quirkless Midoriya story instead, which was his original take on the story!
