Dustpaw, an apprentice of ThunderClan, is just a normal cat. Until he is sent to the Battle of Sunningrocks, where ThunderClan is defeated... and loses their most valuable warrior. However, Dustpaw goes on with his life, disappointed with anything and everything. 

But when cats enter his dreams, whispering about an omen, Dustpaw suddenly realizes that he is special. Not only that, but he may also have seen something the night of the Battle of Sunningrocks. Something important and that his brother, Ravenpaw, holds the key to the mystery.
