Raiden, the protector of Earthrealm, along with the Elder Gods stopped Shinnok. Locked him up in his own amulet. Others followed in Shinnok's footsteps, like Outworld's emperor Shao Kahn, who was obsessed with conquering realms. So the heroes travel their way to Dawn city to explore and learn new things about the city. Perhaps, they can learn about secrets hidden within the city. All of a sudden one of the protectors attempt to kill Team Hero but it isn't long before that completely shifts. Within a flash of lightning the entire city goes into ruins without any return from it at all. One by one terror comes across the heroes, as they try to fight through it all. Unfortunately there is nothing, but soon it comes down to one hero that is guided by the flow of time to save those in need. Is there a hope for this land or is it just terror all around?
