In a dystopian world, the people have been split into two known societies, the City, home to many of the nobles and Ministry, and the Deserters, the rebels that had lost the Great Burning War years before. These Deserters went into hiding the moment failure and loss was imminent. Since then, the Ministry has been trying to get into the Deserters ranks and destroy them from the inside.

'Ember', our story's heroine, is a member of the Deserters, but has no memory of her life before joining these rebels. Soon a tragedy presents itself and only a small group of the rebels survive. Ember and her accomplices has to venture out into the unknown for the first time in centuries.

A second Burning War is brewing and there seems to be no stopping it. But the questions still present in Ember's mind are taking control: Who was I before? Why can't I remember? And in all honesty, Do I want to know?

Daffodils and Hyacinths (3rd book in the Forgotten Truths series) de ROSEEE___555
28 partes Concluida
"One small incident can ruin or change a person's life - Now imagine a storm," Dusty winds spit at Sun'Tribe and her people. Cramped, multiple families are forced to huddle in one of the ruins; the only remaining proof of the original four tribes that used to stand. "Unifying us all is what should make us less insecure about ourselves, but our differences are what makes each one of us unique; special," In Sun'Tribe, everyone is the same. No traditions, no religion, no abilities, no culture, not even the way someone dresses themselves can be different. Dull, brown clothes, with hair cut down and pulled back in a simple manner. Difference is only for their Leader. The supreme ruler who never goes hungry, and lives in a large palace just for herself. It isn't until two lowly commoners take in the last of the outcasts, that their world sees a future of life again. ~*~ Written by the beas-TEAS, (old acc: Echo__IsNoFurry) @ROSE___555 and @Contrastgaze (@Echo_IsNoFurry is a broken acc) You don't have to read the other previous two books of this series to understand this book. "Forgotten Truths" is more of a backstory-based book, for the old tribes and some of the characters, which takes place a little over a decade before "Daffodils and Hyacinths", and the main details to understand this book are in "The Place where Dreams Fade," but if you're new, you should be caught up after reading 'TRIBES AND RULERS' and the Prologue. Updates might be a little irregular depending on our schedule We all hope you choose to give "Daffodils and Hyacinths" a go! (Might be a little gore; warnings on chapters that include it. Suitable for ages 8+)

Two Worlds, Book 2

28 partes Concluida Contenido adulto

The Veil has turned the world into a nightmare, where the infected roam unchecked and humanity's darkest impulses come to light. Each day is a fight for survival for our survivors in a world that grows more hostile and unrecognisable. As they journey through crumbling towns and overgrown landscapes, new threats emerge, some infected, others human. Tensions rise as the group faces impossible choices, their bonds tested by the weight of loss and the struggle to protect one another. In a world where the rules of civilisation no longer apply, survival means sacrifice, and trust can be a deadly gamble. Two Worlds, Book 2 continues the tale of resilience, loyalty, and the thin line between hope and despair in a world forever changed.
