Anyone would say social media influencer, Alabama DuBois has the perfect life. She's married to famous Los Angeles Rams tight-end Mark DuBois and has been in the spotlight as a football wife for the last nine years and living large.  

No one would guess Alabama DuBois is actually Sadie Melvin from Magnolia, Arkansas, who ran away from her small town with Mark nine years ago. When Sadie discovers her estranged grandmother has left her a worn-down Victorian house back in Magnolia, she decides it's her perfect opportunity to start over after uncovering an ugly truth about her husband. Sadie decides to move back to Magnolia incognito to fix up her grandmother's house while she figures out what her next chapter in life will look like. Sadie quickly realizes the house needs more work than she bargained for and the small town she left behind still holds secrets she's not ready to face. 

Finn Weston, a local contractor who went through his own divorce, is determined to help the hot mess who came crashing into his town with the fixer-upper. After their paths continue to cross, Sadie reluctantly accepts Finn's help not expecting sparks to fly. 

As the house progresses, Finn realizes he wants Sadie to stay in Magnolia, but Sadie is convinced small-town living isn't for her. She also is reluctant to reveal her other life to Finn after she discovers Mark and Finn have an ugly history. 

Will Sadie be able to stay in Magnolia after everyone discovers her connection to Mark DuBois? Or will she ruin things with Finn before the house is even ready to sell?
