"So do something about it, you always worry about this and not do a thing" Shouted by my arrogant feelings.

"Everything I try to do to help everyone is pointless, they all end up getting hurt and eventually.....they are gone" Despair has taken over Gabriels thoughts.

"We did lost a vast number of dear people we loved, but I still have you. I'm not gone, I'll never leave your side."
Trying to comfort him with these words.

"That's the thing, you too will eventually be gone unexpectedly."

I think that's why we're still trying so desperately to get back to some sort of normalcy. Four years later and we're still on the ground, crawling, in search of the happiness that was lost that June. Summers will never be the same. Midnight walks through my neighborhood will never be the same. Field parties with bonfires and loud music will never be the same. I still don't know why you left and what lead you to the decision you made. What I do know is that we're here. We're alive and we're pushing forward to the future. A future that you're not a part of. This is a complete story that is much like life; fast, full of surprises, and not always how we want it to be. This has been a project of mine for over three years. It was self-published on Amazon, but after some issues in publication, I decided to just upload it on here. I hope you fall in love with these characters like I have. The friends in this story are trying to make names for themselves, figure out who they are, who they can trust, how to love, and how to separate themselves from a restrictive community. She had lived an almost normal life as an elf in the capital city of The Huem Elf Republic. She worked at a restaurant and lived a naive existence. This one though, is not like the ones in the warning stories she has heard before. As she learns about him, she finds out he is scared. Something that is not common to the Dark Sider name. She being the course little elf she is, investigates and she finds out the shocking truth. Something in the back of her mind wants her help and is calling her down this dangerous path that seemingly has no end.

A Past and Present definitely involve the people in it, but they both have more than that to offer. The situations, the choices made for you and the choices made by you in the past were and the choices would be made for you and by you in the present are as important as the people. Is it possible to fight everything in the past and engulf the present? Or will the external factors will delay the desired result of such fight even after going through the fight? The story of another confused person who is self misjudged and misjudged by others in a whole level or maybe only partly. Let us see whether the light can reach the person's heart while giving it to the other due to just a coincidence like the person thinks. --------------- note: need to read Past or Present to under stand this better...

I'm weak and broken, tormented by monsters that keep reaching for me, touching my body, hurting me, living marks on my skin and soul. I don't know how it feels to sleep without waking up in the middle of the night sweating, incapable of defending myself, too afraid to scream for help. Until I meet him. He is strong enough to cast away the nightmares, to fight my demons scaring them away, to erase my scars with his tender touch. He teaches me to fight back, to be strong, to scream for help because now there is someone always coming to my rescue. Because now I have someone who loves me. Now I have him, my beautiful warrior, my soulmate, my leelen. We might not have met like normal people would, but again we are not normal and we are definitely not people.
