The light season has arrived in Nictaven, and with it the city of Shadow's Reach is rebuilding after the ravages of the past season. But the threat of war hangs heavy over the new peace as the High Lord Harkenn recovers from an assassination attempt, and it doesn't look as though the Angels are finished. Despite the tense political atmosphere, Jordan's time with the assassins' guild has only increased, and creeping ever closer is the job its leader has forced on him, the one thing he vowed he'd never do - murder.
Add to that the threat of retribution for the Angel he helped kill - and who left him with scars he's not sure he will ever recover from - and the fact that he can't seem to get along with his sister Grace anymore no matter how hard he tries, the light season has not brought him the salvation he had hoped.
It's about to get a whole lot worse.

While in London she learns many secrets of her past and present. Through this two book series Jordan tries to figure out who she is, and whether she can or wants to find the truth about her parents. Whether they actually did what they were accused of or if they were set up. There are many twists and turns in Jordan's life and it all started when she was sent to London. (I get the ideas of this book from Cassandra Clare's Mortal Instruments series and from The Vampire Diaries along with other countless supernatural books and movies.)Terminé
Shadowhunter Stories
The young shadowhunter Aleksa Monteverde, called Leksi, finds herself in the academy in Idris after her parabatai Annabeth Kingsmill was killed by a demon. She gets to know the kind Blake Pangborn with whom she gets along pretty well and they immediately become friends. But next to Blake there is a mysterious boy named Elijah Blackthorn who seems to hate everything and everybody. Stuck between a friend and a love interest, Aleksa is confronted with even greater problems. The Council brings the charge against her, that she wasn't present, when Annabeth Kingsmill died. They blame Aleksa for her death. While Aleksa tries everything to get over the loss of her parabatai and to get back to the institute in Montreal, she has to struggle with the Council and them wanting her to visit the City of Bones until the hearing. But her new won friends help her and Aleksa soon finds out the real reason she was held out of the investigations considering Annabeth's death and sent to Idris. The story takes place in an imagined academy, mentioned in the TMI books by Cassie. Since I love academies I had to write about a story happening here. But the story also sets in various places over the world and reunites some familiar places from the TMI books with new impressions. New characters are introduced and also some old and well-known characters will appear during the happenings.Terminé
