Okay, this takes place at the begging of the school year after the Bella's win the ICCA's. New girl Alyssa Ryley is a freahman at Braden university. She wants to become a writer but her parents beg her to be a singer and she is forced to try out for the Bella's. Seeing the tall dark skinned boy with the cute glasses, she finds herself confused. Just to point this out Aubrey graduated the year they won the ICCA's. I would like to point out that in writing this because apparently nobody knows how to write a story where girls run and cry about everything. Or it's about a British girl.
