Tommy perked up at the voice in confusion, looking down into his hand to make sure he still had the keys. No one should be up on the roof this late. No one should be on the roof at all. It was locked on the outside and he had the only key.
He turned around to the voice, curiosity getting the better of him. Annoyingly they were in the only corner of the roof that the lights didn't hit, and he didn't even bother to his annoyance when he rolled his eyes.
"Look mate, you can't be up here." He said. "I don't know how, but you seriously need to lea-"
"Oh my Prime, Toms?"
Tommy froze when the stranger called out the name, and he felt all blood drain from his face when they decided to step out into the light.
He nearly puked at the sight of Wilbur Soot.
"Holy shit, it really is - "
Tommy didn't want to hear another word come out of Wilbur's mouth, nor did he want to even be in that psychos fucking presence.
He doesn't even know he's running until he jumped to the next building over and bolted.

Tommy had just recently moved homes. The one he left was one full of memories. Not good ones, but not necessarily bad ones, either. He didn't have much to live for at his old home, so he moved in hope of starting over and meeting new people. He had no more family, and his school friends had long moved on from him. In fact, the only number in his contacts was his mum's who was long passed away. Tommy was young (sixteen, to be exact) and he often forgot things. Usually just as simple as forgetting to do the laundry, or forgetting to reply to a notification on his phone that he received three seconds prior. Simple things that didn't matter. This time, though, he forgot to charge his phone before leaving his new, barely furnished apartment. He didn't think much of it. If it died, it died. No biggie, right? He figured he'd be alright for an hour or so without his phone. That is, until he got lost in the large, unfamiliar town that he definitely didn't even slightly know the layout of. He didn't know where he was or how to get back to his apartment, especially without a GPS. And then, when it definitely couldn't get worse, it began to rain. Tommy was soaked. He was cold, hungry. He cut into an alley and sat down against a brick wall, curled up on himself. He sat there for a while, and then heard footsteps. It was three men. The older one crouched down in front of him. "You look awful...Come with us, mate." But Tommy didn't want to. He stopped to look over himself in the mirror. His hair was still dripping and he had a couple bruises littering his face. Tommy also took note of the small scrape at the bottom left side of his jaw. He definitely looked like he'd gotten into another fight. His family was definitely going to be worried about that, he might even get a scolding from his dad about fighting. He was not looking forward to that tonight. He sighed as he approached the door. Slowly turning the knob and pushing it open. Whatever he was expecting to find at eight something at night, it wasn't this. In front of him sat his brother in a wooden dining chair, with a few drops of blood on his yellow sweater, holding a handful of tissues to his nose. His father stood in front of him, ice pack in hand, black wings bristled from worry. They only seemed to stand up more as the older man looked over Tommy. And being pushed into the sea of unknown substance. ------- Tommy was looking for his roommate yet luck wasn't upon him, and he somehow went from having healing powers to having wide spread wings, and different powers than before after falling into a puddle. Oh and he has black handprints on his back. Technically he should be screaming- any other mortal would when met with a huge being with boar features, royally dressed and adorned with enough weapons to dice a human into a grain of rice. But Tommy wasn't scared, heck he was fighting the urge to throw himself at the Blood God and cling- but he was a big man, and big men didn't hug- "I told you he would be waiting" That's another voice that Tommy recognises, glancing away from the terrifying creature to land his gaze on a man sat lazily on one of the pews. His hair was curlier than Tommy's, darker too contrasting his fluffy yellow jumper and brown trenchcoat. A young blonde boy wakes up in the middle of the forest. He can't remember how he got there or much about himself either. His name is blank from his mind, and he can't even remember his family. His clothes are torn and dirty, and he wonders what happened. He's not hungry, but he wants a small snack, yet every apple tree and every berry bush he passes doesn't strike his fancy. He eventually makes it to a city. Large buildings are fallen over and the ones still standing have busted out windows and/or have smoke and fire coming from them. He can hear distant screams and yells and gunshots. There are people passing him that are strange. They're badly injured and walk slightly hunched over. Some are missing limbs, and some are missing and eye, or both. They don't even appear to be alive to the boy. They look his way but don't mind him. Tommy is confused and scared. He can slightly remember this place to be his once home, and it makes him upset that's it's gone to such shit, and scared by everyone's screams and the fires and the fighting, and mostly, the fact that some people are eating each other.
