Meet Aaliyah or simply Lia, a 21 year-old graduating student who graduated cum laude in a psychology course whose dream is to help people with severe trauma. But even though she didn't escape the trap of danger when she was abducted and r*ped by a drunken stranger in a dark place, she soon became pregnant and gave birth to a baby boy. There she also learned that her son had a hole in the heart and needed immediate surgery. Here Lia met Cedric Han, a Korean-American bachelor who saved her from a suicide attempt a few years ago and there she learned that he is a successful prosecutor who chose to leave for the Philippines rather than marry a woman he didn't love.
