Amelia has had a hard life. She has to take care of her younger sister. Ever since the tragic accident their family has been torn. She has closed herself off to the people around. She had done bad thing with her friends. Her friends don't know about what goes on at home because you would never be able to tell. Like people say "the ones with the biggest smile are the ones who put up with the most pain."
Jake has only been at Hilldale for a short period of time. He doesn't have any friends, because he likes to read and hang out in the library. He is that one kid who will do anything to do what's right.
