Life is like a poetry book. That's the reason I named this poetry book 'Life'. This book has some real life stories in the form of poems that i believe once everyone felt in there life. Life is short just like a poetry book so i believe one should live it to the fullest without any regrets. Just like poems life is sometimes sad but as you move forward there are happy times also. This is a book I've composed over the course of me going through my feelings, my grueling healing process and the depressive emotions I've went through before I started healing. I've been very depressed and heartbroken so, what better than to create a story out of it? "This is my life" details a protagonist going through her teenage years up until the age of 21. Through love, friendship, grief, and heartbreak, you will get to witness what it's like being a young black girl trying to conquer the world. I hope anyone going through either heartbreak, grief, insecurities, mental health declines are able to read this and know that they're not alone! Life can be so ugly at times, but I promise things always get better. Not your typical romance or teen fiction book! My real life experience with fiction added :) Returning from my six year hiatus with a new book....my bad.
