Anastasius was one of the first vampires God had created, he was the gaurder of God's youngest child, Alessandra., that was until he was cast out of heaven and banned from ever contacting anyone who had anything to do with Alessandra.
After that he spent his years on earth, first starting off in france and feeding on human blood in the early 1700's and then started moving to the americas around the late 1800's, he had started his own gang / Mob and it seemingly grew until the early 1900's, that's when he first ran into the Devil himself.
