Eragon, Saphira, and the elves have left Alagaesia to train the next generation of Riders. One by one, new Riders of all four races (humans, elves, urgals, and dwarves) arrive at Du Fells Gedwëy (The Shining Mountains), the new home of the Riders. Eragon and Saphira, with the help of the Eldunarí and elves, must train the new Riders to the best of their abilities. But, with four different races that have never before coexisted in peace, much less learn to fight and ride dragons together, training the new Riders is going to be much harder than either Eragon or Saphira thought. Will Eragon and Saphira be able to defeat the obstacles that stand in their way of peace? When old enemies rise anew, will the combined might of the Riders be able to vanquish them once and for all? My name is Umaroth Ajikson. My father and sister died in a fire, my mother died shortly afterwards. I've been living in the Spine since shortly after that. However, one day I saved someone from dying by a bear. This person was travelling with another person and a dragon. My life just got a whole lot more interesting. I joined the trio on their travels with my trusty stallion, Istal. Eragon and his dragon, Saphira, must take up the mantle of the legendary Dragon Riders. Joined by Brom, an old storyteller who isn't who he says he is, and myself, someone who has a lot of bad luck, all of us must navigate the dangerous terrain and dark enemies of an Empire ruled by a king whose evil knows no bounds. Together we must face enemies and get through the battles surround us. I've been sucked into an adventure that wasn't meant to be mine, but now that I'm here, I'm not leaving Eragon, Brom and Saphira to their fate. The First Dragon Riders
This is a prequel to the Inheritance Cycle. This is how the first Dragon Riders came to be and how they change to help Alagaesia from those who wish to harm it. Once the truce between dragons and elves is made the dragons gave the elves three eggs, once they hatched the new riders must train to become the heroes and protectors Eragon (the original one not Eragon Brom's son) expects them to be, but then the new queen Dellanir forbids dragon riders to enter the elves' forests, making it a little more difficult.
