"Kiss my lips, bite my neck...
It hurts...so good..." --Amy Hathaway.

They say, 'You have to expect the unexpected.' and Vincent made sure to follow this one rule through his existence, making sure he is at least 10 steps ahead from anyone, even his own co-called family.
'Vincent is Satan.' 'Vincent is merciless.' Those were the first thoughts of his people whenever he passes by, 'Vincent needs to be killed.' and some of them even had the guts to actually think the last one, even though they knew the silent rule.
'Never mess with a Primordial."
Vincent nearly had no fear or weakness except for his co-called family, but even those he could survive without them, he just cared so he made sure they were not killed.
But, fate could play mind-blowing games.
Because, somehow, the dreadful Vincent happens to have a mate, and not just any mate. A human. 'A weak, pathetic human...' he thought once he saw her, never did he expect that she would soon be bound to him for eternity, until the day one of them is dead.
No one believed it. How is that even possible? The fearful Vincent has a human for a mate, that was like the golden chance for revenge. If she's dead, he'll be in pieces and probably kill himself, without a single effort.
Who could miss this chance?
Only who had the right mind, in my opinion. No one could forget that he could easily slit the throat of anyone who comes near his companions, so imagine what would he do if someone as close as touched a single hair from his mate, human or not.
Still, some of them didn't mind the risk.
Secrets revealed, people change, spells appear, hearts are ripped, blood splatter...
And that's only one side of the story.

"To bastards!" I said, gesturing to Vincent and Mason. "And to the girls that endure all the pain." I clicked Tina's glass while she watched me take another glass, "And to the absolute horror of getting a divorce a week before your birthday because you were stupid enough to like the bastard." I bowed while everyone stared at me. The anger radiated off Vincent while I took another glass. "This one is for you, my loving husband." I chuckled slurring as I got up, "I mean ex-husband, and you, if you may, please get the fuck out." I pointed between Mason and Vincent, a hiccup escaping my lips. "Both of you.
Faith was the only thing that brought them back together, but will it be on their side again? Vincent and Laura had known each other since they were children. He searched for twelve years just to get her back, and when he did, his past began to emerge from the shadows, ready to claw back at him for all of his mistakes.
Vincent Johnson, dubbed the "King of Business," was not to be underestimated. He made an impression on the world that no one could forget. He was domineering, and he drew a great deal of attention from many across the world. No one could ever match his power because he was godlike. But there was one who didn't care about his criteria and didn't consider him to be a god. Laura Smith, the girl who stole his heart.
