Poems about being gaslighted, abused, betrayed, and the simplicity that life has sickening portions. I like to make poems focusing on the portions people don't think about, or things they do but explained in a different light. Sometimes poetry feels too simple, so I try and twist things around to have different expressions.
The chapters will tell you the name of the poem, and sometimes at the end in parentheses it'll tell you the topic. However not every one will have a topic. I love seeing how people interpret my poems, some are very guess-focused and some are not. Enjoy!

I've tried to release this pain in so many different ways; But writing about you seems to be one of my faves. I don't understand how I find closure When I know it only lasts until the poem is over. 4. Memories and Feelings That Still Haunt Me
I've cried too hard for too long as I debated death. Over and over, all I wanted was a quick overdose, a quick way to escape the pain. Until the guilt set it and made me realise, suicide feels too selfish. Instead I turned my sadness into art and my pain into strength. Desperately wanting to carve up my skin, I bled on a page. My screams are silent, hidden behind closed doors, And computer screens. All these horrible emotions kept secret in notebooks.
