Damnation Of Devotion ✔
"I would've prayed for Them to go easy on you too." He moves and his eyes are on me, eyes where they are brimming with tears, but his soft smile confuses me. Gently caressing my temple, he gazes at me as if I'm the most delicate treasure. His lips kiss my fingers. "They did. A few years late but They did. Their mercy on me is you." ______________ While World War II is absorbed in its own devastation, a runaway slave stumbles upon a meadow. He is saved by a curious, lonely spirit and builds an affinity with her; but will he be her only salvation or eternal damnation? Either way, she can't let him go. And neither can he... as they're more similar than they thought. With unexpected gifts and losses coming their way, the starry-eyed lovers go on a journey for a sense of peace through a strange reality, a stark contrast to her own. The human world. Not an easy feat. Especially where ghosts and dreadful creatures are concerned. ☾✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧☽ Cover art by DuskBeetle This story isn't drama-filled and hasty despite the dramatics and the hassles. ▪︎ Ludus/Eros/Pragma & Philia ▪︎ Grumpy x Sunshine ▪︎ Interracial Couple ▪︎ 93k-98k words ▪︎ WARNING: Death, war, and miscarriage themes, harsh language, mild violence, implied trafficking Copyright © 2021 by L.I. Catastrophically Carla (Lesbian Story)
Ages 14+ (lesbian concepts and some profanity) This is not your everyday love story, okay? It's not a chick flick either. The events and themes within my pages have meaning, depth, truth-and most of all, reality. You are about to be taken on an adventure about a girl who's life is not like everybody else's. I look like a normal teen girl, I mean, I have hair and two eyes and two hands and feet like everybody else, but I couldn't feel more different. I have two moms, yes. Let's just get that out there before you start reading and close my diary like everyone in my life has shut me out of theirs. All I want is a normal life with normal friends who don't judge me because of my home situation. I don't even remember the last time I went on a sleepover or called somebody my age. I don't mean to be a downer, because it does get better. Life gets better. Struggles are only temporary, I know that now. And by my last words reach your eyes, I've come a long way, and have grown to see potential in myself. I'm sharing this with you because I want to make a difference. I know now that I'm not the only one in the world that feels alone. I've been there, done that, and there's more loneliness to come, but for now, I feel more prepared for it. I know how it feels to sit by yourself at lunch every day and how it feels to watch others go to prom with dates and feel like shit because you don't think you'd even have any friends to go with. Please ready my diary. I am much older now, and much more wiser, and I can't wait for you to realize the potential in yourself, too.Terminé
Two Separate Lives: Ashen Series I
We all know the basic isekai story, yeah? Die in this world, and then reborn to a fantasy one, yadda-yadda-yadda. However, in this scenario, we get to learn this fantasy world's inner workings alongside our precious main character, his journey, his struggles, and finally, a situation that will come up. The question is... What kinds of struggles shall he endure? Will it be simple for him to deal with? Or will it be hard? Just know that... Life, even if it gives you enough powers to be considered a god, it will still find a way to bite you from behind, caught unawares. "Death is unavoidable But so is life And everything you knew Can be taken away all at once But what happens when Two lives merge as one It wouldn't be the same, yes? And it can still shatter one's perspective in life? Have we really learned of everything we could learn? Know what one is thinking? Can we truly know their struggles and problems With just one look at their face? We sometimes say That someone has their own world In a way, that is true But what if that is the literal truth? Ground shaking, is it not?" TWO SEPARATE LIVES: A NOVEL FOR ANOTHER WORLD (BOOK ONE OF THE ASHEN SERIES)Terminé
The Dark Witch: The Nox Haven Series
I'd Like to think I was a good person, before it all began. I didn't cheat on tests, or steal. But throughout my entire life, I was treated if I were a monster. At the age of five, after several agonizing tests, I was diagnosed with Reactive Attachment Disorder. But not even that title could describe just how strange I was. When another kid got hurt, I would cry. Whenever someone else was told a funny joke, I would laugh hysterically. People looked at me as if I were crazy- and for while I agreed with them. That was until I, Caddie Jones, was exiled to Nox Haven Academy, a school for truly special kids. Not the mentally ill, psychotic kind of special but the magical kind. Like witches, vampires, fairies and werewolves. Call me crazy if you want, you wouldn't be the first. But the stories are all true. The supernatural did exist and I was one of them. Life there was cool until suddenly, I was faced with two-faced witches, egotistical princes, hormone driven werewolves, and an army of evil warlocks who were threatening to destroy the world. ... Maybe Nox Haven was a school for psychos after all. ---------------------------------------------------------- Highest Rank: #2 in Paranormal 1st Place winner of The Night Shift's Killer Competition 4/10/16 Illustration by: Stephanie Pitino (www.ClairObscur.fr) (1st book in series)Terminé
Discovering My Mythical Fate Book 1
What if I told you that the things from our stories an Book 1d myths are 100% real and I have to save them? Crazy right? Trust me I know but it's true no matter how much I wish it wasn't. I thought I was just a normal 21 year old girl... Weeks after my classes let out I found out that had never been true. I had never been normal, I'd just been hidden away from the world, the real me hidden from even myself to keep me safe but more importantly alive so I could defeat the FIRST, the original, the one that made all other supernatural things, fantastic right? Hardly... I Tana Záchranca drew the short end of the stick in life. This is the me telling you the beginning of the end of my life...well kinda, there's betrayal, fighting, torture, death, love, supernatural creatures, and adventure, and I'd give it all up to be able to go back to my old life, but the last year has made it impossible for me to ever permanently return to my family...to anything. I'm of both worlds, human and Mythical, and belong in neither... I try to make all my chapters 3000 words or more and I will upload at least twice a week if not moreTerminé

Static
{COMPLETED} "now that you've had your fun electrocuting me, would you care to hop in the backseat?" ---------------------------------------------------------- Freak DNA. That's what I like to call it. The fault to my genetic code. More often than not, it's a curse. The static running through my blood gave me a name. A cruel, daunting label of a measly bug. A roach. That's what I am to them, to the government. Roach; the nameless monster with electricity for a sense and lightening as a second nature. It ruined my life, the sparking currents playing tag in my mind, running around and bumping into everything, shaking me loose. The government, actually. They ruined my life. My curse just gave them a reason. You see, the normal population with ordinary DNA, they don't know about the people like me. The roaches of the world. We don't get that kind of recognition at the camps. There, we are only one thing in the military's eyes. We are weapons and we will act like it. Everyone else out there, bathing in the goodness they don't know they've got, they don't know about the roaches their stepping on. As long as their getting closer to the sky, they don't care what they stand on to reach it. They don't know about the sparkling dreamer that's killed 7 people before her 17th birthday. They don't about the ghost of a girl peaking around corners for her entire life because even home wasn't safe. They don't know about the fighter of steel and iron sucking on his bloody lip courtesy of the wars he battles in as nothing but a shadow. They don't know about the masked villain who would do anything to see the army they lead claim the throne They don't know about us. But they will, because we will rise. And when we arrive, we will arrive violently. ___________________________________________ Started: 10.06.15 Finished: 3.17.16Terminé
