Two old friends must right the wrongs of the past when an evil presence that they thought had been vanquished long ago surfaces once more in their lives. A detective and a young forensic scientist find themselves caught up in a seemingly impossible series of nightmarish events as they help to unravel the past. The four of them must find a way to stop the evil from returning to the streets of London once again and they must do it before the dark soul claims them all.

In a city brimming with activity from industrial revolution and mass immigration, an investigator hunts a serial killer...but to find his quarry, he must tap into powers that could bring his own destruction. [Moderate violence.]

A social worker gets involved with a case where it seems like a mysterious writer's newest stories are causing some people to carry out a series of murders, and these books seem to be a scene-for-scene run of all the murders that are happening. As he starts having some strange dreams and visions himself, he decides to go, with two investigating undercover police officers, to a small town where the publishing company, who are the ones publishing the books, are stationed. However, this might all be part of some bigger plot, and he might play a huge role in this plot.
