It's time for the mean girl to get her happy ending. ---- "Aren't you drunk though?" "Not that drunk." he pulled a key from his pocket and walked towards me. "If I die, I'll haunt you." And now I was joking with a guy who despised me, and honestly, I didn't care. He didn't say anything as he handed me his helmet. A few yellow flowers drifted down and fell on my shoulders. I gazed at the starless sky and the contrasting yellow swaying in the wind. The street light made the tree look ethereal. The soft, gentle wind made me forget that my life was falling apart. "You look good." His sudden voice jolted me from my thoughts. That was unexpected. "I know. I always do. You should weep and worship my beauty. You have the golden opportunity to witness it from up close." I smirked. "God! You're annoying." He said, staring off his bike. "Remember the haunting," I said as I sat down. "I've had enough of your antics in the daylight. I don't need them haunting my dreams too."All Rights Reserved
