Being the child of a mafia boss is difficult, be it a boy or a girl. When your parents are in the mafia you're bound to have enemies left and right. Your life will constantly be in danger and so will the lives of those around you. However the life of a child being groomed to be the next mafia boss is especially difficult.

Kenji Dagon is in line to take over for his father. Although he is not the oldest he is the most promising. He is the golden child, groomed perfectly to his father's expectations and even to exceed beyond them.

Oliviya Zoldyck is the only child of Aziel and Silvia Zoldyck and being the only child she is to inherit everything.

Although the Dagons are heavily feared and known throughout all the other families, they are only the second most powerful mafia. The first is the Zoldycks. With Aziel Zoldyck being the most feared and most powerful man, he has many many enemies seeking to kill him and take his title.

Oliviya and Kenji are supposed to be enemies. But when Oliviya's father and Kenji's father make an agreement to have the two marry and join forces, things change.

Although both parents really want this, they wouldn't do it without their children's consent. So, of course, like any good parent would, they make it so the two spend all their time together.

Since childhood Oliviya and Kenji have been forced to be best friends. They are always around each other but can't seem to get along.
