On the Island of Sodor, where many living engines work, Halloween is fast approaching, and this year is surprisingly gearing up to be bigger and better than before. However, suspicions arise as months before, a strange government facility is built in close proximity to Vicarstown and Crovans Gate, complete with their own strange engine, to whom one of the NWR's engines is familiar. Mainland's Decay {Sodor's Decay AU} by Writting-Truck

[Literally just "Sodor's Decay" but it takes place on the mainland.] Our protagonist is Class 40, now known as Andy, who spends his days working on the mainland, along with other diesel engines, and a few steam engines who, by law, can't be scrapped yet. All of them unaware that the Decay is about to begin, and it all started with something that looked harmless; Rain.

The main plot of the series is that the Island of Sodor has been greatly affected by an explosion at a nuclear power plant, that The Fat Controller invested in. The rest of the series follows the events and horrors seen and witnessed during the traumatic time.

An earthquake is scheduled to come to Sodor and soon the island starts the crumble. Inspired by Sodor Fallout by Tidmouth Thunderbolt, Sodor Dark Realm by Percy And The Beast Productions, Sodor Decay by Lucat_Here, Sodor Left for Dead by Shanks, Sodor Eclipse by Truck of Tar and The Sodor Cold Wars by Shanks.
