Nessie Arnott is a mouse who dreams of being a lion.

Then you have Isaac Blake, the guy who Nessie has lived across from her whole life. Nessie could write a whole book on him. He’s loud, handsome, and basically runs their little prestigious beach town, Spencer Bay. It’s a black and white situation, Isaac is perfect, and he has everything, so why is he suddenly turning up at Ness’s door in the middle of the night confessing his deepest, darkest secret? And why does Nessie feel obliged to help him?
