Time line- sometime after the grand magic games. Canon divergance.
They had discovered some time ago that the dragon slayers all had a pre-determind soulmate. But Laxus has never showed any signs of having one so people began to suspect that second gen dragon slayers were different. Until he gets mysteriously sick and Porlyusica has determined it's mate sickness. An illness that's the result of being rejected by your soulmate and can be fatal if not cured.
He needs his soulmate to accept him but he won't tell anyone who that is.

Waiting For My Mate
Laxus is waiting for Freed to return from a mission and Freed has no idea what is waiting for him when he would finally return. Dragon mating season has started and all kinds of things will happen. After the season their journey won't stop but there will be lots of new stuff they have to get adjusted to. I'm currently rewriting this story. I'm not sure how long it will take, but I'll just rewrite a chapter or two every now and then. I won't be making any drastic changes, just some fixing up and things like that.
