This I believe is an essay assignment for an English class I have this year. I had fun with this because I can do with it as I please after and before I read it to the entire class. This I believe essay is about my opinion about everyone being beautiful in their own way. Yes what is said about me when I was in Elementary and Middle school is all true. I hope for those of you who read this that feel "ugly" understand that....you are NOT "ugly" You are all gorgeous in your very own special way and NO ONE can take that away from me. Be proud of your looks and don't get down. I hope you enjoy. ***NOTE: requirements for this essay is 400-500 words. No more. No less. I'm not like the other kids. The other kids, with their pale gold hair and pale moon faces, or dark coffee skin and hair as black as night. I don't want to waste my life, being told to believe things because some adult said so. I don't want to be shunned because I look different. I don't want this. In this place everything is perfect. Adults hold all the answers to the world. It is meant to be simple and perfect, like chess pieces. Calculated and controlled. Black and white. that is how it is meant to be. Dear Diary: But Seriously, What the Fuck?
I don't blog, just needed a place to vent. Who knows, maybe someone will read it and empathize or sympathize with me. All I know is, we're not alone. No matter how different we look on the outside, we all go through the same bloody bullshit. So this is me, getting all therapeutic and trying to survive this life as a person living with multiple chronic illnesses. And it fucking sucks!
