Eight friends journey to Long Island to find the fabled Camp Half-Blood. They find their way and seven of them turn out to be half-bloods, but one of them is an ordinary mortal. As they part ways and settle in to their new home for the summer, they discover new things about their past, make friends, enemies and even fall in love. However, their little fantasy is cut short when their friend's life is put in danger and they must make their own quest to save her. Will they succeed or will their friend die?
