Sweet Symptoms

(Spoilers ahead for A Hollow Harvest and the other games in Michaela Thisten's series.)

Jesse 'James' Thornhart- one of the best surgeons in the city's hospital. He was known for his slightly awkward demeanor, but nonetheless friendly attitude. Another thing he was known for, unbeknownst to him, was the way he looked at Kitsune Reine- a nurse in the Post-Operation Care unit. She was a cheerful young thing, though a little self-conscious sometimes.

He was willing to do anything to impress her- no matter how shady.

And as it would turn out... Those shady things had consequences. Consequences that he had no way of predicting. Consequences that would flip everything he knew on its head.

...And those consequences would drag her down with him.
