First of all meaning of GURUDWARA consist of two words, GURU and DWARA. GURU means Master, and DWARA means Door Step. So, the meaning of Gurudwara is the Doorstep of the Master's Seat of the House of Master.
Gurudwara Bangla Sahib is the most important Gurudwara in Delhi. It was originally built by Sikh General Sardar Baghel Singh JI IN 1783 ON THE Bungalow donated by Hindu King Maharaja Jaisingh Ji of Amer, Jaipur of RAJASTHAN.
SIKHISM
Sikh religion has started by their First Guru. Guru Shree Gurunanak Dev Ji, was born in the year 1469 and died in 1539. He was the first Guru of the Sikh religion.All Rights Reserved
