"Nudam te vidi" is my latin translation of "Fornocht do chonac thú", a poem by Pádraic Mac Piarais (Patrick Pearse, 1879-1916). Written originally in Irish Gaelic, it was translated in English by the same Pearse with the title "Ranunciation".
I thank Roberta Ghisolfi for her help with the latin text, and Molly Nic Céile, for her help with the irish original text.

Narn I Dant Gondolin (The Tale of the Fall of Gondolin)
This is a retelling of the story of Tuor and the fall of the legendary Elven city of Gondolin. It is based on the original 1918 version by J.R.R. Tolkien himself, but updated as much as possible thanks to additional material from both Unfinished Tales (the later Tuor) and The History of Middle-earth series. I must also admit to interpolating my own narrative additions, where definitive source material was lacking, in an effort to round out the story and make it more entertaining for modern audiences. Finally, it is a self-contained story. That is, you don't have to know anything about the world of Middle-earth in order to read and enjoy it. No infringement intended or implied.
